All families are invited to attend and pre- school children are very welcome. The idea is that children as young as 4 or 5 and up to around 14 can learn to lead the rosary and make the rosary part of their daily lives. The rosary only lasts around 15 minutes. St Pio of Pietrelcina (Padre Pio). We will celebrate a Votive Mass of St Pio of Pietrelcina on Wednesday the 6th of July at 7pm. An individual Blessing of his Mitten will also take place. He last wore this mitten on the 10th of August 1947, the Anniversary of his Ordination. He used the mitten to cover the stigmata that he received while praying before the Crucifix in the choir loft of the Old Church in the Monastery of San Giovanni Rotondo on 20th September 1918. There will be No Morning Mass on the 6th of July in St Johns/St Thomas.

Parish Allotment Project: We are considering converting a piece of self-contained spare ground into a miniature allotment for parishioners to grow vegetables! If you would like to take responsibility for one of the raised beds please speak to one of the priests after Mass.
