I encourage you to watch this excellent 25-minute film Outreach to the Unaffiliated. It was produced by the USCCB’s Committee on Evangelization and Catechesis, for which I’m honored to serve as the chairman. In the video, you’ll hear from expert evangelists and sociologists, as well as young people who don’t affiliate with any religion. I’m convinced that outreach to the “nones” remains the most pressing evangelical task of our time, so I hope this video sparks new conversations, insights, and ultimately hope around this important task.
