It is very clear and evident that the Saints of old and the Popes of the Church fully appreciated the true value of attendance at Holy Mass. They loved the Mass and understood that it is the joining of heaven and earth, our life with the divine and supernatural life of God. The Mass is the representation of Christ’s one saving sacrifice on the cross and the pouring forth of the blessing and graces from that sacrifice. Having been deprived of the Eucharist, the Mass, for these few months, now is the time to appreciate such a wondrous gift and if we have ever taken this for granted, maybe these quotes will give us a greater awe, joy, love, respect for Jesus truly present body, blood, soul and divinity in the Eucharist and Holy Mass
