The formation of our Priests costs approximately \u00a3100,000 per student. (7years). At present we have three men in training for the Priesthood. The monies raised from the collection also helps to pay for the assessment process of those applying to train for the Priesthood.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Year of Saint Joseph Afternoon for Families: <\/strong>Families are warmly invited on Sunday 19th September from 2.00pm to St Mirin&#8217;s Cathedral Hall. It is an opportunity to reflect in prayer as families in faith and join together for some light refreshments.\u00a0 Bishop John will conclude with\u00a0 Mass in the Cathedral at 4.00pm.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sacred Heart Companions Prayer Group: <\/strong>Begins again on Tues 14<sup>th<\/sup> Sept in Tea-room from 1pm-2pm.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA): <\/strong>The group will start on Monday the 4<sup>th<\/sup> October. Anyone interested in enquiring about the Catholic Church should speak with Fr Joe\/Fr Jonathan<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration<\/strong>: From Monday, 4th October we will again have Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration in the Oratory in St John\u2019s after 10.00 am Mass until 9.00 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Sign-up forms are available in both Church Porches for a new rota of Adorers willing to commit themselves to spending the same hour each week in the Oratory. We will also be starting all-night Vigils before the Blessed Sacrament in St John\u2019s on the First Fridays of each month.
